Eric Armstrong started as the Pastor of Woods Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Eric previously served as the Senior Pastor of Triangle Baptist Church in Nederland, Texas (2005 – July 2011), the Minister to Students at Trinity Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas (2002 – 2005), and in other ministry positions in various churches in Alabama (1998 – 2001). Eric was licensed to the ministry in 2001 and ordained to the ministry in 2004.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and a minor in Political Science in 2001 from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and in 2004, he earned a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Eric is married to Summer, and they have three children, Ethan (5 years old), Abigail (2 years old)¸and Aaron (born in June 2011).
Eric’s hobbies include college football, reading, and attempting to learn golf.
